Merchant Master How to Increase Talent Power

Increasing Talent Power

The prime way to increase power in Merchant Master is to level up a single SSR talent and his spirit beast. Talents come in four grades

  • SSR (Yellow, strongest)
  • SR (Purple)
  • R (Blue)
  • NR (Green)

You get a free SSR talent "Si Magwong" with the 7 day activity program on your sign-up. Si Magwong is as good a talent as any to be your first powerhouse.

Si Magwong - Your free powerhouse

The second item you need is a good Spirit Beast to equip Si Magwong with. You get some free gold ingots on signup and completing early quests. Save them up and once you have 1000 ingots, use it to get the "$0 Giftpack" of 1000 ingots. You get a Panda which you can equip Si Magwong with. Level up this panda all the way with the "peaches" you get, until later you get the Reindeer.

Free Panda, Reindeer and Lion!

Keep saving up ingots until you reach 5000. Get the Reindeer. Once you have the Reindeer, release your Panda. You get back all the peaches you have spent on the Panda. Use this peaches to level up the Reindeer.

Release a beast to get back all the resources used for levelling up.

In 7 days you would get back the 5000 ingots spent on getting the Reindeer. If you have been saving up, you would have more than 10,000 ingots by now. Use that to get the next free pack - The Lion. Release the Reindeer and level up the Lion. Do not worry about losing the Reindeer, you would get more high rarity beasts for free than you can use.

Level up Si Magwong as much as you can, preferably till 400. As for the beasts, level up only the Lion - no other beasts. I cannot emphasize this enough. Every progressive level of the beasts costs the same. There is no reason to level up a beast equipped by a lower level talent, when you can level up the lion instead. Every level on another beast is your peaches put to sub-par use.

Make sure that the Lion has all the skills at max. Use your enhancement pills to get every skill slot above 20%.

Lion is the only beast to spend peaches on, until you replace it later with a mythical creature (usually a phoenix).

For upskilling the talents, focus on your Si Magwong. Of you total power, more than half will come from this talent alone.

Get more peaches by completing "Stages" in the map, and buying from the different item exchanges in the game. Peach is the currency of power in Merchant Master.

The Guild Statues

In the Founder Statues section in the guild, choose the type of your main talent (Scholar if you are focusing on Si Magwong) and worship it, until it is reasonably affordable based on your revenue. Do not worship any other statue. Use these items to level up your Main talent.

Select Confucius to worship if Si Magwong is your main talent.

The Forest Shop and the Fox Hunt

The Forest and Ape-Siege events happen once a day. Get horns from the ape siege ranking to collect mythical creatures (Phoenix and Unicorn). Get animal hides using the green scales to get collect foxes. The foxes give you 10 elixirs of harmony (red balls) upon releasing them. Use these elixirs to increase the number of skill slots on your beast, till you have 16 slots.

The Limits

Keep going until your main talent is level 750 (max), your spirit beast is level 465 (max) and your spirit beast has 16 slots open(max). By this time, you would be strong and ready to work on a second talent, preferably the greenwood hero of the same type as your main talent. (Wu Yung, if your main talent was Si Magwong).
