Business Shops Revenue Mechanics

The Revenue Model

The base revenue of your shop is the sum of the "base revenue" of all your talents (irrespective of whether they are dispatched to the shops or not) and the revenue from workers. The revenue from workers is often less than 1% of the total, and this small percentage keeps shrinking even more as your talents grow. Here is an example from my steamed bun store -

Revenue from hiring workers is insignificant

You can see that my steamed bun store has a base revenue of 1.3 million coming from the talent strength, and 3600 coming from the workers (one worker gives 1 revenue in this store) - the sum of which is still 1.3 million.

This 1.3 million is then amplified by the 3762% bonus coming from store upgrades, beloved skills and the grocery shelf upgrades, effectively giving a total revenue of 50.4 million.

If my talent strength double, I would have 100.8 million instead of that 50.4. If my number of workers double, I would still have 50.4 million.

Conclusion - Do not spend gold hiring workers. Keep finishing more and more stages to unlock new buildings. Unlocking a new building is a lot of free revenue from your talents.

The Takeaway

  • Add workers to the shop only for the main quests and the event quests (not the daily quests).
  • Use your gold to finish stages and hit the guild statues.
  • Distribute dispatch scrolls evenly to all talents, based on the returns. SSR talents gives +4% revenue per level of dispatch skill, green talents give only +2% revenue. So raise a green talent's skill up when it costs less than half of raising an SSR talent's skill.
